Product Overview
The EquiGroomer 8-Inch Deshedding Brush for Dogs & Horses, Black demonstrates durable engineering through thoughtful design that supports everyday needs. Designed with Hardened Steel, available in Black. Notable features include large shedding and shedding dogs, contributing to its well-made character.
Key Features
- Built for Horses and Large Shedding Dogs Over 50 lbs: Made for the thick, shedding coats of horses, ponies, and large breeds like Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Labradors, and Huskies; a 50 to 90 lb dog can use either size; not made for cats, small dogs, or non-shedding hair-coat breeds like Poodles and Doodles
- Stress-Free Deshedding: Our hardened steel blade has tiny barbs that grab only dead, dry, loose hair while leaving the healthy coat intact; no pulling, no pain, and no need for rubber curry combs; the harder you press, the better it works
- Gentle on Sensitive Skin: The EquiGroomer’s short, fine teeth reach through the coat without scratching the skin, making it ideal for thin-skinned animals like Thoroughbreds and senior horses; all your horse or dog feels is a gentle brushing sensation
- For Shedding Season and Year-Round Coat Care: Perfect for spring coat blowouts, post-ride cool-downs, pre-show grooming, and weekly maintenance; removes loose hair, dirt, and dander for a richer, shinier coat; note that this is a deshedding tool, not a dematting or detangling brush
- Ergonomic Handle, Made in the USA: Crafted from sustainably harvested hardwood with a thumb groove for a secure grip in any hand size; durable lacquer finish wipes clean; built to withstand daily use in the barn, stall, or home
